"A Tea Out of Time" is a historical play written by Larry Ann Evans and Linda Stevenson, originally produced in 2017 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage in New York State. The plot centers on sixteen women from various eras of Wayne County's past, who receive a mysterious invitation to a tea party. As they gather, they gradually realize they are from different periods in history, leading to intriguing conversations about their lives and times. The play humorously and poignantly explores how women from different centuries might interact, especially as they await the arrival of Susan B. Anthony, the guest of honor.
