Pictured here is Issac Mullie, a Civil War soldier from Williamson who joined the 111th NY Volunteer Regiment in 1862. His great grandchildren are now on a quest to honor the men of this company as well as all Civil War Soldiers from Wayne County who fought for our nation. Bob Stopper
Bob is best known as Lyons Erie Canal Ambassador. He and his group of volunteer greeters have welcomed1000s of boats from around the world to the Lyons community. He enjoys boating, fishing, hiking, exploring blue highways with his wife Vickie, and spoiling his grandchildren.

Deb Hall
Deb is the Executive Director of the Museum and Historical Society. She writes about upcoming events, exhibits, ongoing projects and the organization. The history of Wayne County is closely connected with the history of this great nation, with early colonial settlements as old as 1789 and indigenous settlement predating that by 100s of years.
