Cynthia is the 15th installed pastor of The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons from 1996 until 2007. During that time, she was involved in many of the community outreach mission projects including the Lyons Food Pantry, The Lyons Lunch Program, was active in the Inter-Church Council of Lyons, and also served as the Chaplain for the Lyons Fire Department for five years. Cynthia was diagnosed with early Alzheimer's in 2011, which has led to her becoming a local, national and international advocate for those living with dementia.
