About
In 2019, The Wayne County Board of Supervisors appointed Gene Bavis, Walworth Town Historian, and in 2021, Town of Huron Historian Rosa Fox as co-chairs of a Bicentennial Committee to plan, coordinate and communicate activities related to our celebration of Wayne County's unique heritage. A committee was formed with Peter Evans, County Historian as committee advisor. Together, the duo of Bavis and Fox oversee the many activities and projects for the bicentennial.
This profile is dedicated to sharing the stories of Wayne County as they're told by the Bicentennial Committee and creating a new platform to connect with the community.
